Comments:
Clues 1&3 can be got from the roadside (though park in the car park at Machell's coppice for 3) Clue 4 can be solved at home with an OS map.
Clue 2 requires going to the lake shore about 500 yards from the road. The paths are muddy and there's a couple of small streams to cross. Parking for this is by three well-disguised wheelie bins at N54 18.873 W003 04.836 - there's a few pull-ins to the north of this location, but the ground drops away from the roadside and the road is quite narrow, so getting in/out of a car might prove tricky!
