Comments:

I parked at approximately 53.624434,-2.56784, I'm sure that there is closer parking but it was our walk so that's the rating. Most of the paths are well maintained but there are lots of elevation changes but no steps to negotiate but there was some substantial mud, as usual the final decision is yours. Hope this helps.

Comments:

Its a fairly smooth path for most of the way. The worst you may encounter is large puddles. For the final 200ft its a standard well trodden footpath. You should have no trouble in getting a wheelchair to the castle although that is not necessary for find the cache.
