Rating:  H23132   Difficulty:  one starone starone star (3)
      Terrain:  one starone starhalf a star (2.5)

Decoded rating:

H
2 = Distance to cache  = 500ft to 0.3 miles (150m to 0.5km)
3 = Route surface  = Gravel/curbs
1 = Route slope  = Flat
3 = Route obstructions  = Small branches/moderate vegetation/steps
2 = Cache height  = 0ft to 3ft above ground (0cm to 1m)

Comments:

Stage one had to be replaced due to trail reconstruction. The new trail is more accessible (flat and wide, crushed stone surface), however the new stage one cache had to be placed in such a way that there is a steep (30-40% slope) 15 foot climb up a slope at the very end. The final portion is therefore not accessible and will require assistance.

Stage two is now placed a few inches below ground level and will require assistance to retrieve.

In summary, both stages are accessible until the very end, when both will require assistance to retrieve the caches.

2 = Route slope  = 10% or less for LESS than 500ft (150m)
3 = Route obstructions  = Small branches/moderate vegetation/steps
5 = Cache height  = Assistance will be needed/don't want to say

Comments:

Stage one requires descending a short, steep roadside slope and then traversing a rough path with uneven surfaces, and may not be accessible. Stage two is fully accessible, over paved paths and a boardwalk, the physical cache at the end of stage two is located less than 3 feet from the ground.
