Comments:

This is a true Terrain 3.5 cache - decent stamina and balance will be required.

Taking the waypointed footpath from Brotherikeld Farm as the gentler route, the distance to the cache is roughly 3k/2 miles.

The footpath rises and falls, is broken in places and crossed occasionally by rivulets. The path surface is uneven.

Could probably ride a mountain bike to within 350m of GZ if they were allowed on the path, but anything else with wheels is pretty much a non-starter.

If you do take this particular route you'll have a sustained climb at the end of about 350 metres. The surface is uneven, rocky and steep - if the photograph I took (see cache page) is anything to go by it's not much shy of 45°.

Of course other routes are available but I doubt there's anything gentler than that described above.
