Comments:

The best access is from the swimming baths on Lodge Bank (parking available). Most of the route is fine with compacted crush and run or boardwalk surfaces. The last thirty to fifty feet are a slightly different matter being a mud based surface which can be OK or not depending on recent weather conditions. It can get overgrown but not too bad from this direction but the retrieval of the cache, I think, will definitely need assistance. You probably need to be more than five feet tall to find the specialist equipment and there is a six to eight inch step up onto the wall which is about a foot wide and there is shallow water on the other side but with a deep mud bottom. Wheelchair users may (at a push) be able to access this one but it will definitely require a degree of out of chair activity at GZ and you will probably have to bring your own specialist equipment.

Hope this helps.

Cheers.

Schnuz.
